The Albanian Career & Business Summit UK 2026 will take place on 21st November in London, bringing together organisations and professionals from across employment, education, business and training.
The initiative has been founded by Merjeme Tota, Founder and Director of Narrativa Shqiptare, a media and community-focused organisation based in East Barnet and Beklie Koltraka.
The Summit has been created with a practical objective: to make it easier for members of the Albanian community in the UK to discover and access opportunities in employment, education, training, scholarships, professional development and business.
Around 500 participants are expected to attend, alongside more than 50 companies and 30 institutions, including employers, universities, training providers and community organisations.
Unlike a traditional networking event, the Summit is designed to give attendees direct access to opportunities
Participants will be able to explore employment vacancies, speak with organisations, discover education and training programmes, and find information about scholarships and professional development.
The programme will also include opportunities for businesses and professionals to connect, while organisations will have the opportunity to introduce their services and opportunities directly to members of the community.
For the organiser, the initiative is also about addressing a wider need within diaspora communities: ensuring that people are not only informed about opportunities, but are able to find them in one place and connect directly with the organisations offering them.
The aim is to create a practical platform where people can come not simply to network, but to discover real opportunities for their careers, education and future,
says Tota.
The Summit is expected to bring together people at different stages of their professional journeys, from those looking for employment or training to students, graduates, professionals, entrepreneurs and established business owners.
The event will also highlight the contribution of Albanian professionals and businesses to the UK, while creating opportunities for stronger connections between the community and British employers and institutions.
